Well, i cannot help you with your problem with optycdplayer but i do
have another solution to getting your favorite tracks onto your hd.
I use two little tools from aminet called cdda2aiff & cdda2aiffi. both
of them convert .raw cdda files into aiff samples (you'll need loads of
hd space) cdda2aiffi converts Intel (big endian format) cdda and the other
(cdda2aiff) converts Motorola (little endian format) cdda to aiff. They are
so simple to use it's unbelivable. After conversion you end up with a very
large aiff sample which can be converted to mp2 (Pegease) or
mp3 (Lame, Bladeenc etc...). I cant remember what dir there in so do a
search for CDDA
